Twin Flame journey is our gateway to higher knowledge and spiritual evolution. However, in most cases, there is a price to be paid for this knowledge. Being able to accept the separation or a complete ending of the connection is probably one of the most difficult parts of the entire journey. In this post I explained how the separation on a soul level, both short-term (during runner-chaser phase) and long-term (during separation phase) is necessary for soul’s evolution and growth.
First, it is important to recognize, that the nature and level of connection between two souls strongly determines the depth of understanding of the human nature. Being able to build and maintain harmonized connection is crucial to enable the flow of the universal consciousness.
One of the most distinct dynamics present in the soul connections are runner-chaser dynamic similar to a magnetic push and pull – just as if people were two magnets. Lack of equilibrium in their internal energetic field makes it impossible to produce harmonious universal field of consciousness between two souls which would allow them to access higher wisdom throughout their journey.

Initially, upon recognition of two souls, there is sudden attraction and they are magnetized very closely towards each other. However, imbalance in their internal fields often causes them to start pulling each other away. From the “human” perspective, this situation is usually referred to as a “runner-chaser” dynamic and is considered as an unhealthy pattern, but there is a purpose of this push. Any separation on the soul level causes both souls to expand and evolve. At some point of the journey, when both counterparts are ready, the process of evolution causes two souls to pull infinitely far from each other. The further two souls become distant to each other, the deeper understanding of the entire process in both energetic counterparts. Complete energetic disconnection between two souls may sometimes be necessary to bring the harmony in their fields. That is one of the main reasons why it is in most cases necessary to lose the contact in 3D and even 5D (energetically), to attain the infinite wisdom and understanding of the Universal order. “We need to look deeply enough to see”.
If we are focused on people that are close to us energetically, especially during the emotionally and mentally intense ignition phase, we are discarding completely the Universal nature of things. Our both worlds merge together not leaving any space for expansion. This state is in a way “neutral” from the evolutionary standpoint since it does not create enough change and progress.
Throughout the connection, souls can experience multiple separations depending on the level of their emotional, spiritual and mental growth. People who have not matured enough to maintain a peaceful connection, may be fall back to the old patterns and will need to separate in order to fix unhealthy behaviors. One special case is the long-term separation, during which counterparts involved in the Twin Flame connection need to completely disconnect in order to get to the next level in their soul evolution and reveal the true nature of the connection. This is often the case, when Twin Flames are splitting and cut the communication completely, for months or even years.
In those cases, only complete energetic disconnect from your Divine Counterpart as understood in the human experience can bring to us back the very thing we had to let go and not completely aware – our Divine Essence. Through non-attachment to the physical world, personal preferences and expectations. At the same time, upon surrendering completely to Twin Flame journey, we are proving our trust and readiness towards our spiritual evolution which is a very important threshold which brings us higher understanding of the energetic nature of the Twin Flame process. In some cases, this moment brings towards each other two people ignited independently through completely separate Twin Flame experiences. This may happen when they individually achieved a proper mental and spiritual level to reach higher levels of consciousness faster than their ‘original’ Twin Flame counterpart, but fastest progress could happen through the partnership with another person.
As difficult as it may seem, accepting the evolutionary nature of the Twin Flame experience gives an opportunity to see more complete picture of the entire journey. We have to remember, that positive and negative experiences only exist in a duality-based reality; There is no good or bad at the source of all things. Your soul will be guiding you towards the experiences that are necessary for your growth, no matter how joyful, stressful, painful or sad they seem from our perspective.
